Stolen vehicle recovered near Del Monte Shop Thika
Police in Murang'a have recovered an abandoned motor vehicle at Gatonye area near the Del Monte shop that is believed to have been stolen.
Following a report by a night-shift driver at a local company of a neglected vehicle that had no occupants at about 0200hrs on Sunday night, police officers moved swiftly and recovered an abandoned Toyota fielder car, Grey in colour with a tampered ignition kit.
The vandalised vehicle was towed to Ngati Police Station after the scene was processed by the DCI Crime Scene personnel.
The police have since established the vehicle particulars in efforts to identify the real owner and occupants at the time, their motive and safety.
