Kiambu Instals New State-Of-The-Art Dentistry In Four Hospitals.
In its pursuit to bringing dental services closer to the
people, Kiambu County Government has introduced top quality and personalised
dental care in a number of its hospitals to benefit its residents and the
surrounding areas. The new facilities include an extensive array of cosmetic,
restorative and general dentistry solutions to maintain excellent oral health.
The dental sets have already been delivered to Thika Level 5
Hospital, Githunguri, Wangige and Karuri Level 4 Hospitals.
Speaking exclusively to Thika Town Today, Kiambu County
Health Communications Officer Mr. Peter Arakawa said that the county government
was now offering a wide variety of family dentistry care using the latest
state-of-the-art technology and progressive, innovative methods.
He added that in the near future, they intended to provide
a full range of dental procedures that included dental implants and highly
effective laser and cosmetic dentistry solutions so that all of their patients
can attain the beautiful smiles they desired and deserved.
“We believe that each and every patient that walks through
our doors should feel as comfortable and as welcome as this is their facility.
Whether you are visiting us for a simple cleaning, a complex restorative
procedure or anything in between, you will find that our extensive array of
dental care services that has been tailored to meet your needs,” he said.
He said that this was a continuation of the Kiambu government’s
policy aimed at bringing services closer to the people.
“We aim to provide our people in the grassroots with an
epitome of dental solutions that is affordable, high quality preventive and
curative dental solution. It is important to know that the majority of dental
problems do not become visible or painful until they are highly advanced. Unfortunately,
serious oral issues are painful and expensive to treat. We therefore encourage all
Kiambu residents to take advantage and visit our facilities for optimum dental
care ,” he said.
