By the way, have you ever imagined of a world without trees? There would be no trees for
people to climb. There would be no shade for people on a sunny day.
There would be no place for animals and birds to live. In fact, it’s
very difficult to imagine a world without trees.
Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the
planet, they give us oxygen, store carbon, stabilise the soil and give
life to the world's wildlife. They also provide us with the materials
for tools and shelter. They also provide additional necessities such as shelter, medicine, and
tools. Today, their value continues to increase and more benefits of
trees are being discovered as their role expands to satisfy the needs
created by our modern lifestyles.
That is the kind of knowledge the teachers and staff of Kamenu Primary School are trying to impact on these young brains. This is also a great way to teach young children of the importance of taking advantage of situations that nature presents to them.
