THIKA TOWN PHOTO OF THE DAY

Jubilant Kamenu Primary pupils enjoying their new found freedom after completing their END of TERM II exams and awaiting the close of school this Friday......

The closing week was such a great time in the 80s. Every kid longed for that time of the year. It guaranteed them some free time away from the hustles of the book life and the authoritative teaching staff. I wonder if the kids these days get the same feeling considering the fact that these days most of them rarely close school due to the so called 'Extra remedial Lessons'.

How many can recall those days when we were about to close school? Do the kids nowadays still have the "Tutafunga na wewe" stuff?
