Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has claimed that Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro may soon join
Kenya Moja, a newly emerging political alliance being branded as a “Third Force” in Kenyan politics.

According to Owino, the alliance is made up of youthful leaders breaking away from both the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). The group positions itself as a fresh alternative that champions democracy, accountability, and generational change.

“Kenya Moja is the future. We are building a movement that puts the people first and brings a new era of leadership in this country,”
Babu Owino said.

The possible entry of Ndindi Nyoro, a key ally of President William Ruto and one of the most ambitious figures in UDA, would mark a dramatic shift in the political landscape. His involvement could boost the movement’s appeal among younger voters, while also signaling growing discontent within the ruling party’s ranks.

The Kenya Moja alliance is still in its formative stages but has already drawn attention due to its sharp criticism of government policies and its promise to push for reforms. Political observers say the emergence of such a force could reshape the 2027 election race, challenging both Ruto’s UDA and Raila Odinga’s ODM in what has traditionally been a two-horse contest.

While Ndindi Nyoro has not publicly confirmed his association with the new coalition, Babu Owino insists that conversations are ongoing and that more leaders will soon declare their support.

If successful, Kenya Moja could usher in one of the most significant generational shifts in Kenya’s politics in recent years.
