Details of the Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 that crashed this morning en route to Nairobi.

Here are some of the details of the Ethiopian plane that crashed this morning….

• Took off from Addis Ababa at 8.32am

• Had approximately 149 passengers and eight crewmembers on board.

• The plane, flight number ET302/10 March was scheduled to touch at JKIA at 10.25am.

• The fatal crash is reported to have occurred six minutes into the flight within Ethiopia's borders around Bishoftu, formerly known as Debre-Zeit.

• The airline has launched search and rescue operations and are also checking for information on survivors and casualties.

• The Boeing 737-800MAX was brand new had been delivered just four months ago.

• The wreckage is yet to be found.
