St Patrick's Catholic Parsih Thika Parish Priest Rev.Fr Anslem Kamuyu blessing some of the Tuk Tuks during the thanksgiving mass.
Thika Tuk Tuk Operators took time to attend a thanks giving ceremony held at the St. Patrick's Catholic Parish -Thika on Thursday 14th June 2018.

'Gratitude and Thanksgiving' was the theme of reflection.

The mass was presided over by the Rev.Fr Anslem Kamuyu the Parish Priest. In his homily the Priest took time to remind the operators on the importance of cohesion amongst themselves and to their customers. He said that the bible teaches human beings to strive at being who listen and show compassion to another just like Christ did, and because Tuk Tuk Operators deal with a lot of clients from different backgrounds it's important to carry out their work with a lot of professionalism and dedication.

The event was also attended by Africana College of Professionals director Dr. Susan Gitau, who also called upon the Tuk Tuk Operators to take on personal branding in their business as a way of adding value to industry in order for them to stand out in a very competitive transport industry.

The mass brought together close to 600 Tuk Tuk Operators and their owners.  Thika Town boasts of having close to 1200 Tuk Tuks operating within the town.
