13 cheat death after a 2TS matatu overturns in Juja.

13 people survived with bruises after a 14-seater matatu belonging to 2TS Sacco lost control and overturned in Juja along the Thika Superhighway.

The passengers, all from Thika, we headed to Dandora in Nairobi for a football match when the accident occurred 1pm Sunday afternoon.

Confirming the incident, Juja OCPD Simon Thirikwa said that the passengers then opted to proceed to Nairobi after none of them complained of any serious injuries.

He said that the police had launched investigations to ascertain the cause of the accident.

The accident, that happened at the under the Juja overpass on your way to Nairobi, caused heavy traffic snarl up for several hours.

Meanwhile, about two hours later, another accident involving a lorry and six cars occurred at the Juja weighbridge with one of the vans that was ferrying milk spilling it all over the highway.

The cause of this second accident was not also immediately established.
