Thika Residents Eagerly Await For President Kenyatta's State of the Nation address.

President Uhuru Kenyatta,will deliver his second-last State of the Nation speech this Thursday 

afternoon. The highly anticipated address will see both houses Senate and Parliamentary hold joint sessions.
The Presidents' address  is expected to highlight to Parliament what the Jubilee administration's achievements and plans for the year.

Last year’s speech was deemed as  inspirational and aspirational for it offered leadership on tackling key challenges facing his administration.

According to Article 132 of The Constitution of Kenya: The President shall once every year: (i) report, in an address to the nation, on all measures taken and the progress achieved in the realisation of the national values referred to in Article 10;

A spot check around Thika reveals that most business premises within Thika Town are either tuned in to their favourite TV and Radio channels in anticipation of the 2:30pm State Of The Nation address to be delivered in Parliament.
