In a statement, Rennox said Jbee's medical team "advised him that he is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident he will make a full recovery. He's eager to get back to the office."
Rennox posted on his facebook wall, "It had been a hard tough week and God really heard our prayers...mheshimiwa 's speedy recovery is a sign of Gods miracle and we Thank Everyone who stood by us during the hardest time.#Welcomehomejbee"
Rennox told Thika Town Today on Tuesday that the MCA has been "quite active on the phone," working from the hospital, regularly speaking to Hospital Ward Office staff.
Jbee was reported to have been involved in a serious accident along Thika-Garissa Highway near the Gatitu Junction on the night of Wednesday 3rd February 2015 as he was returning home after attending a friend's 'macakaya' in Kiandutu. He was rushed to Thika Level 5 Hospital and later transferred to Aga Khan University Hospital where he has been recuperating.
The pictures of Jbee, smiling and making a thumbs up sign, are the first time he has been seen in public since Wednesday 7th February 2016.
