MKU OFFERS THIKA RESIDENTS FREE LEGAL ADVICE.

Mount Kenya University School of Law at the end of this week hosted a two-day legal clinic at its Handball court by offering free legal advice to members of the public from Thika Town.

The two-day event took place at their main campus, covering the whole breadth of litigation including Conveyancing, Business, Family issues (Marriage and children's right), Land issues, Government, Criminal matters and Human rights.

The MKU School of Law operates from Parklands in Nairobi which boasts several state-of-the-art facilities including a moot court, and well-stocked library that offers the best in jurisprudence.

The University is in the process of opening a free public legal aid center

 "In near future, our students will be visit different places in Kenya to sensitize the public on the power of litigation in ensuring a just and fair society," says the MKU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Stanley Waudo.
