M.P. Shah Chania Girls’ High School Posts Strong KCSE 2025 Results

M.P. Shah Chania Girls’ High School has recorded a solid performance in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, maintaining a mean grade of C+ (7.2661) despite a marginal drop from the previous year.

According to the released results, 236 out of 342 candidates, representing 69 percent, attained C+ and above, qualifying them for direct university admission. This reflects the school’s sustained academic consistency and commitment to quality education.

The 2025 cohort demonstrated strong performance across middle and upper grades, with 60 students scoring B, 80 attaining B-, and 73 posting C+ grades. Additionally, the school produced 23 candidates in the A- and B+ categories, reinforcing its reputation for competitive academic output.

While the mean score dipped slightly from 7.3764 in 2024 to 7.2661 in 2025, school administrators noted that the overall performance remains stable, especially considering the reduced candidature and the evolving national examination standards.

The results also show minimal cases of low grades, with only four students scoring D and none recording an E, underscoring effective academic support systems.

The school congratulated the Class of 2025 for their dedication and resilience, while acknowledging the efforts of teachers, parents, and stakeholders whose collective support contributed to the positive outcome.

With a strong 69% transition rate to university, M.P. Shah Chania Girls’ High School continues to position itself as a reliable center of academic excellence in the region.
