Man shot dead in Kimathi estate Thika


A man in his late 40s has been shot dead at Kimathi estate Thika by unknown assailants.

In an incident that happened some minutes to 8pm on Thursday night, two men walking on foot waylaid the victim as he and his wife drove home in Kimathi estate.

They ordered him out of the vehicle and shot him at close range before escaping on a waiting motorbike.
He was rushed the nearby Caritas Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The wife was unharmed in the incident. There are no reports of anything stolen from the victim.
