Bidco to host a 3-day celebrations to mark end of Ramadan.
The fete, dubbed "Planet Eid Mela", will feature free musical performances, and traditional Swahili,
Asian and Arab cuisine. There will also be funfair rides, a sports area, plus a bazaar with stalls selling clothing, jewelry and crafts.
The organizers also plan to hold a fireworks display on Saturday night, as the Muslim community breaks their month-long fast.
The free entry event will offer fun for the whole family.

This event marks the end of Ramadan and gives the whole community a chance to see the breadth of Islamic culture. We would like to wish everyone a happy and peaceful Eid,” he added.
Muslims celebrate Idd-Ul-fitr, at the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and on the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
During that month, Muslim faithfuls refrain from food and drinks which can only be served before
sunrise and after sunset.
Ramadan is based on the lunar calendar, starting and ending at the arrival of the new moon, so dates
vary slightly depending on location. But most people follow the dates used in Saudi Arabia, where
officials check for the faintest sliver of a crescent moon in the sky before announcing the start and end.
