Thika High School Records Solid B- Mean Grade in 2025 KCSE Results
Thika High School has posted a commendable performance in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, with more than eight out of every ten candidates qualifying for university admission.
According to the official results released by the school, 380 candidates sat for the national examination, attaining a mean score of 8.124, equivalent to a B- mean grade. The school recorded an impressive 80.79 per cent transition rate, reflecting the proportion of candidates who scored C+ and above.
The results show a healthy spread of high grades, with 6 candidates attaining grade A and 31 scoring A-. A further 61 students earned B+, another 61 scored B, while 90 candidates attained B-, demonstrating strong academic depth across the cohort.
At the middle level, 58 students scored C+, while 40 attained C and 20 recorded C-. Notably, the school recorded no D- or E grades, with only 10 candidates scoring D+ and 3 attaining D, pointing to effective academic support mechanisms.
