Matatu stuffed with bhang nabbed in Thika

Police in Thika have nabbed 7 sacks of bhang stuffed in a PSV matatus in Kimuchu area of Kiganjo estate in Makongeni Division.

Following a tip-off from the members of public, the area chief working with the police in Kimuchu Police Post intercepted a matatus belonging to KINATHI SACCO  registration number KCH 657E parked near a bush at Kiganjo, Gwa Kamande area loaded with the drug while its door open with no one at scene.

The area was well cordoned by police and a search on owner of the consignment  done but with no success.

The vehicle later towed to Makongeni Police Station awaiting further investigations and apprehending of the suspect.
