A section of Kenyatta Highway Thika temporarily closed

Kenyatta Highway will temporarily be closed at Bonjour roundabout near Section 9 estate beginning Friday 13th May to Friday 20th May 2022 to allow for road repair works.

The said roundabout has been bad state following a trench dug by Thika Water and Sewerage Company (THIWASCO) as they repaired a faulty water pipe over a month ago.

Motorists are advised to use the diversion from OAU Road - Mombasa Road - Mugo Kibiru Road (Section 9), to rejoin the highway at Bonjour roundabout next to Shell Petrol Station.

There will be diversion signs and traffic police to guide and control the traffic.
