Bidco, Sofapaka share the spoils at Nyayo Stadium
Thika's Bidco United and the 2009 champions Sofapaka FC on Sunday afternoon settled for a 1-1 draw at Nyayo Stadium in a FKF Premier League match.
Host Bidco United took the lead on the 23rd minute through a goal by Zacharia Gathu following a goalmouth mêlée after a poor clearance by Sofapaka's Stephen Okola.
Lawrence Juma wonder goal on the 51st minute was enough for Sofapaka to collect a point against Bidco United.
Following the draw, Sofapaka are currently placed 10th with 19 points from 13 matches while Bidco are a place below on 17 points from 14 matches.
Meanwhile Thika Queens FC on Saturday drew 1-1 with Zetech Parks FC from Ruiru at Ruaraka Grounds Nairobi in the Kenya Women Premier League with goals from Cate Wangechi on the 6th minutes and an equaliser by Puren Alukwe on the 47th minute.
