Thika MP gives a breakdown of how he has used his CDF kitty and more..

All constituencies in Kenya are allocated approx 100M for education and security. This money includes 16% VAT back to the govt (16M), 6% withholding tax (6M), 5% PMC (5M), another 10% for sports, environment, emergencies (10M), 25% bursary (25M).
DEVELOPMENT MONEY PER YEAR IS 38M.
Provide for contractors margin....say around 20%. Leaves you with 30M give and take.
SCHOOLS WILL TAKE ABOUT 20M. SECURITY WILL TAKE 10M.
THIKA CONSTITUENCY IS DOING COMPLETE FACE LIFT FOR OUR SCHOOLS WHICH INCLUDE PLASTERING, ROOFING, DECENT METAL/WOODEN DESKS, WINDOWS, DOORS....NAME IT! ANY TEACHER IN THIKA KNOWS THE SITUATION IN THEIR SCHOOLS. WORSE THAN MOGADISHU!
One schools is estimated at 10M. So per year we can only do TWO schools.
CURRENTLY WE ARE DOING 10 SCHOOLS!
At any given year, constituency will be lucky to get 10M NET for RURAL ROADS development from KERRA.
SO RURAL ROADS DEVELOPMENT PER YEAR. 10M. THIS IS APPROX 4KM OF EARTH ROAD DONE AT NATIONAL STANDARDS.
SO FAR WE HAVE DONE MORE THAN 30 KMS OF EARTH ROAD! AND WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN ALMOST 2OKM TARMAC FROM NATIONAL GOVT!
MP RECEIVES NOTHING FOR WATER DEVELOPMENT.
THIKA MP has revived DUMAGO ( Ndula, Maguguni, Goliba) project at a cost of 30M benefiting almost 10k residents.
For public info: NIB had spent 409 Million shillings on this project with absolutely no DROP OF WATER to Thika East residents.
STREET LIGHTING:
MP office receives NO MONEY for street lighting. We have managed to do almost 30km of street lighting.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT:
Thika MP is working with almost 1000 (one thousand) clusters in Thika town constituency in various stages of progress. Youths are doing vacuum packed potato processing plant and farmers doing their own animal feeds plant thru these clusters.
For Thika MP to be able to do all these, we need a lot of residents support and resources. Whenever you see Jungle foundation, kindly read Patrick Wainaina's resources! It takes a lot of GOOD WILL to do this! I am calling on more thika businesses to kindly come through for our constituency!
ASK YOURSELF WHAT U CAN DO FOR YOUR Govt!
Not the other way round.

Meanwhile, let's get informed. YEAR 2017/2018, KIAMBU COUNTY RECEIVED 13B FROM COLLECTIONS AND NATIONAL GOVT FOR ROADS, ELECTRICITY, WATER, GARBAGE COLLECTION, ETC.
I pray we use all the passion we have to follow up this money that can change this county completely in 2 short years! AFTER ALL....THIS IS TRULY YOUR MONEY!
I HOPE I HAVE INFORMED MY BELOVED RESIDENTS, AND WILL DO THIS EVERY SO OFTEN UNTIL WE TURN AROUND THIS CONSTITUENCY.
