Two in court for defiling minors in Ofafa and Landless estates.

Two men were on Friday arraigned before a Thika court for defiling minors aged between 4 and 6 years on two separate occasions.

In the first case, Evans Matheka Kariuki, who is a student in one of the local universities, was accused that on the 26th day of this month at Ofafa estate in Thika West Sub-County, he lured a 6-year old girl into his rented house and later forcefully defiled her, rapturing her private parts in the process.

He is said to have later threatened to kill her if at all she disclosed the matter to anyone.

Through his lawyer Kanyi Kirichu, Matheka denied the charges.

Senior Resident Magistrate Grace Omodho released him on a bond of sh. 500,000.

In the same court, Samuel Mwita Ayenda was charged of defiling a 4-year old girl in Landless Estate Thika West Sub-County.

The court heard that on the 24th day of November 2018, he defiled the minor and injured her in her private parts, a charge he denied.

He was also released on a sh. 500,000 bond.

Both cases will be mentioned on December 11 2018 and a hearing date set on that day.
