The new building coming up in Makongeni along The Thika-Garissa Highway now hosting KCB and Equity.

Makongeni Estate slowly but surely turning into a business hub quite autonomous from Thika Town. With its own supermarkets, banks, a market and so on, this area wil soon be independent from the main town, save from the main government services.

So many new structures have come up in this locality giving it quite some good upgrade. They include the Ananas Mall and The Family Bank just next to Madaraka Market.
