KAMENU WARD WOMEN TAUGHT HOW TO BAKE CAKES, START A BAKERY

Kamenu ward ladies had a moment of their lives this morning when Amboseli Institute Social Empowerment Program (AISEP) spared time to teach them how to bake, make Marble and Queen cakes, Swiss Rolls, Sausage Rolls, Bread, Fruit punch and so on with the key intention of helping them keep polishing their pastry art at home and doing it to earn a living.

This was made possible courtesy of  MC SAM, the chairperson of MIA AFRICA SACCO which is based in Makongeni Estate, Thika.

The women expressed their gratitude to the organisers and the facilitators for their good gesture. However, they highlighted their main concern  on the cost of a Cooker that goes for 30k though they expressed their faith in God and vowed to work out on a formula on how to save money to acquire on.
Mr Chege put them through on the steps to follow in order to register their own Cake bakeries, and to become the next Entrepreneurs.
