Has Thika Town Become A Hot-Bed of Road Works?

Everywhere you go around Thika you are bound to encounter various road works and maintainance projects that are being carried out take for example Kenyatta Highway a 1km road that stretches from the Garissa Rd junction at Gatitu to the Engen Junction on the far end which is currently being maintained by a contractor under Taflos Company Ltd.

Also of important to note is the ongoing construction of pavements dubbed non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians walk ways that are funded by the World Bank that is happening around.

All this is in a bid to promote road safety and ensure a smooth connectivity within Thika Town.
