UNI-CITY PETROL STATION

1. FORECOURT SUPERVISOR JOB PURPOSE: Ensure provision of a high level of customer service in the forecourt and service areas by     performing supervisory duties. QUALIFICATIONS: KCE Division III/KCSE Mean Grade C + (Plus) and above At least two (2) years work experience at a similar post in petroleum industry Computer literate DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure order and the smooth running of operations at the forecourt and service areas at all times Ensure the entire forecourt staff are smart and presentable Ensure proper merchandising of  products on the forecourt especially on the lubricant racks In conjunction with the line manager assign daily/shift based duties to Attendants Ensure a clean working environment adhering to the housekeeping and health and safety standards Deal with cases of staff disobedience/customer complaints in the first instance (reported to the manager in the daily briefing) Represent the management when dealing with credit customers Confirming Local Purchase Order (LPO) details before commencing of fuelling Verifying that invoice/credit card amounts tally with what is on the pump and writing invoices Training of new employees through on the job training Assist in appraisals and evaluation of members of staff Suggest and recommend improvements to staff related matters SALES ATTENDANT QUALIFICATIONS: KCE Division IV/KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) and above Certificate in Sales and Management or related field At least two (2) years experience in Sales and Marketing in the Petroleum industry Computer literate DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieving the set sales target Ascertaining customer needs Providing  excellent customer service by developing a good knowledge of the merchandise varieties, location and promotions Responding to queries and issues raised by customers Gathering information on various special needs of the customers and communicating the same to management 3.SERVICE BAY OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS: KCE Division IV/KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) and above Basic automotive engineering Valid driving license At least two (2) years work experience at a similar post in the petroleum industry DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for servicing motor vehicles Responsible for wheel balancing and alignment Providing proper lubricants for a car’s suspension system and other moving parts Tire puncture repair

4.CAR WASH OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS: KCE Division IV/KCSE Mean Grade D (Plain) and above Certificate in basic automotive engineering Valid driving license At least two (2) years work experience at a similar post in the petroleum industry DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the daily operations of the car wash facility Responsible for physical appearance of the site and equipment Managing the inventory and handling customer complaints Directing clients to the entrance of the car wash Notifying supervisor of any problems arising Filling detergent and wax tanks, lubricating equipment and replacing spray jets and hoses as needed GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Certificate of Good Conduct Fluency in English and Kiswahili The application letter should give full details of educational and professional qualification, work experience, present post and salary, applicant’s telephone number and e-mail address.
