IRUNGU TAKES OVER FROM BRYETT AT THIKA UNITED.

Thika United's head coach Tim Bryett has resigned after a poor run of results registered by the team this season despite a good start. Thika United the club’s Chief Executive Mike Muriuki said that the team’s assistant coach Moses Irungu had been elevated to the position of head coach to be in charge until the end of the season when they will be open to hiring someone else.

“We have seven matches to go before the season concludes and have therefore decided that Irungu steps in since we want to maintain continuity in the technical bench. We realise that hiring a new coach now is not the best because they will come with new ideas which can be confusing to the players,” he said.

Thika United have lost their last seven matches in a row.
