100 CATECHUMEN STUDENTS RECEIVE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION AT THE ST. PATRICKS CATHOLIC CHURCH, THIKA.

It was pomp and colour  at St.Patrick's Catholic Parish-Thika on Sunday 23rd August 2015 Catholic faithfuls celebrated their Parish Family Day that was held at the St. Peter The Rock Grounds near Tuskys Chania Supermarket.
  
The close to two hour long mass was led by His Lordship Bishop Kamau Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Nairobi who urged the congregation to strive at serving God at all times. 

"Most of the times we forget about seeking help from God and commit ourselves to other forms of duties. I therefore urge all of to strive at serving God as catholics and christians," said Bishop Kamau. 

The celebration also saw close to 100 catechumen students receive the sacrament of Confirmation. 

Also in attendance was Rev. Fr. Simon Warari Parish Priest St. Patrick's Catholic Church among other members of the clergy.
