KIAMBU REVENUE COLLECTION HAS DOUBLED, KABOGO.
KIAMBU county revenue collection has
doubled in six months, Governor William Kabogo has said.
He said the county collected Sh1 billion in 2013-14 and Sh2.2 billion in
2014-15. Yesterday, Kabogo attributed
this to the automation of revenue collection that has sealed loopholes for
misappropriation of money. Speaking in Thika county offices, Kabogo said the
increased revenue will ensure more development projects.
“The revenue is not for personal use
but will be for projects.”
Kabogo warned county officers
against irregular spending of county cash.
